About the project
The project’s overall objective is to improve the implementation of regional development policies though territorial tools (in the field of OS5.1 sustainable integrated territorial development in urban areas).
The project focus on the potential of sustainable urban development strategies as a tool to implement the twin transition (green and digital) at local level, combining the traditional understanding of integrated territorial tools and place-based approach with the most recent approaches to place-based innovation.
The learning process tackles (one or more) Handbook of Territorial and Local Development Strategies building blocks in different regional contexts developing an action plan to improve their transformative orientation.
In some regions pilot activities will be implemented involving the Authorities responsible for approved PO5 territorial strategies to test innovative mechanisms to improve the transformative approach of the territorial strategies.
